Formal Tomorrow

At long last, DKE Formal 2007 is upon us.
Our hosts at the
Radisson Hotel Downtown are hosting Alpha Tau for the second year in a row, with drinks starting at
6:30pm and dinner at
7:00pm.
The remainder of the evening will be filled by awards for our hardest working chapter members, as well as the announcement and introduction of our 2007-08 Alpha Tau executive.
Many thanks to our Formal Planning committee, chaired this year by our Vice President Dylan Webb. Tomorrow their hard work will pay off in what promises to be a great night.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Formal 2007 Updates

The Formal Committee is proud to announce that the Delta Kappa Epsilon year end Formal 2007 will be once again held at the
Radisson Downtown on
March 31st, 2007. Tickets for Active members will be handled at our regular meetings while Alumni members may contact Andrew Synyshyn for details.
Details including a schedule of the evenings events will be posted shortly.
Upcoming Meetings
As the year finds itself closing down, Alpha Tau begins a few of its most important meetings of the year.
Starting next Thursday (the 15th), ΔKE Alpha Tau will being the process of not only nominating and voting on their elected positions for 2007-08 (results will be posted later this month); but also ratifying a formal set of bylaws.
These bylaws have been written over he last twelve months by our executive council, with help from Alumni Andrew Synyshyn, ΦA 01, and a great deal of input from various Alpha Tau Alumni. Though the final details will be discussed and voted on in upcoming meetings; early drafts of these bylaws are based on versions from other Canadian and American chapters, with specific changes to make them 'Manitoba-friendly'. It should be noted that many of the rules outlined by these bylaws are ones that Alpha Tau has been unofficially(or at least informally) following for at least the past few years. Even still, the Active Chapter of DKE believes this is a critical step towards rebuilding Alpha Tau, and these bylaws will aid greatly in the future running of our chapter.
Any Alumni member interested in the contents of these bylaws is invited to contact any member of the Alpha Tau Active chapter executive.
