After a long-awaited and well-enjoyed Reading Week, and a number of meetings conducted by the DKE Formal Committee (Steve P, Steve C, Nate P), we have the groundwork laid for an excellent evening that will see not only dinner and dancing, but the introduction of the 2006-2007 Chapter Executive, as well as the presentation of the annual Alpha Tau awards.

The Manitoba Ballroom, on the 11th floor of the Downtown Radisson Hotel will host DKE Formal 2006. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served between 6 PM and 7:30 PM, with dinner being served at 7:30 PM. Dinner will be Chicken Florentine, salad and dessert, with wine to accompany the meal. Ticket prices are currently undecided, however there will be a discount on couples' tickets.

Our thanks to Scott Reid AT'90 for all his help facilitating this location for DKE Formal 2006, further details will be relayed to all DKE Alumni in a timely fashion.

For all those of you members out there anxiously awaiting an update on the 2006 Formal, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Our Formal Committee (Brothers Steve C, Steve P, and Nate P) has scheduled meetings over the next week with key Alumni and will provide the chapter with a full report sometime in the next two weeks. For now, we are proud to say that a location has been all but confirmed and the active chapter is very excited about this event. As usual, keep your eyes on this page for the latest details.

For all Deke actives and alumni that have eagerly been awaiting details for the much anticipated Deke Formal event for 2006, plans are well under way. Deke Formal details will be provided as they become available, right now all we can say for sure is that the event will take place on Saturday, April 8th.
